Privacy Policy

The short version

Your calculator inputs never leave your browser. We store no personal financial data on any server. If you sign in (optional) we keep only what's needed to save your scenarios: your account email and the URLs of saved scenarios.

What we collect — and don't

  • Calculator inputs: stored only in your browser's local storage. Never transmitted to us.
  • Account (optional): if you create an account, Firebase Authentication stores your email address and a hashed password (or your Google account ID if you used Google sign-in).
  • Saved scenarios (optional): if you click “Save scenario”, we store the scenario name, the calculator ID, the shareable URL (which contains your inputs encoded), and a creation timestamp — keyed to your account UID — in Firestore.
  • No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers. No fingerprinting.

Cookies & local storage

We use first-party local storage to remember your theme preference and your most recent calculator inputs (so the page is useful when you return). See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

  • Access: sign in and visit /saved to see everything we hold against your account.
  • Deletion: delete individual scenarios from the saved page. To delete your entire account, contact us (see below).
  • Portability: each saved scenario is a shareable URL — you can copy and export them freely.
